Best Wishes, Sharon!

It was bittersweet at our MOPS meeting today. While we had a fun time eating, visiting with friends, making a fun craft and hearing a great, encouraging word from our mentor mom, it was also sad having to say goodbye to our wonderful MOPS leader, Sharon. Sharon has been the (as her daughter calls her) "Boss of MOPS" for several years and has done an amazing job leading this group of ladies. She has a heart for the Lord and for women and will surely be missed by all of us!

Sharon, we will be praying for you as you move to Fayetteville. Our loss is their gain! I know that God will lead you to another great group of girls and will use you in a great way!

We made a great craft (see previous post for info) and as always, we had a wonderful meeting. Such a fun group of girls - I personally feel blessed to be a part of it!

Here's some of the fun we had today!

March 14th Information

Hey ladies!! Our first MOPS meeting in March is Wednesday, March 14th! Don't forget to bring your empty Clorox wipes canister and 12 Walmart or Target plastic bags for our craft!

We are going to make a cute container that will dispense plastic bags to use in the car or as a way to store them at home! Because if you are like me, you have a load of empty Walmart bags thrown in the bottom of a cabinet taking up a lot of space and looking junky! :) And, how many times are you on a trip and the kids need a "trash can" for all their snack wrappers? Throw this canister in your car and you'll always have a bag ready for when it's time to clean up all the stuff from a road trip. Love this idea! I'm so glad there are creative minds in this world to come up with these ideas that we can copy!

Looking forward to our next meeting and if you are in this area and are looking for a great place to go to get involved with other moms - please come visit us! We have a wonderful group of fun ladies and it's a great way to get to know new friends! If you have any questions, call FBC-Greenwood at 479-996-2166. We start at 9:00 a.m. and it's over at 11:00 a.m. - the kids are well taken care of by a group of wonderful ladies while we meet! Please make plans to visit if you want to see what MOPS is all about!

See you all on the 14th!
